« Peer Review Process
All articles submitted to the journal are evaluated and commented upon by independent reviewers selected from the community of experts within the same field of research. The reviews, submitted in a Review Form, contain a constructive appraisal and allow the Editorial Board to assess the paper’s suitability for publication in the journal.

The peer review process in the Structure and Environment journal follows the guidelines announced by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education on 2 June 2015.

• Two or more independent external reviewers are assigned to a submitted paper for review;
• The reviewers declare any conflicting or competing interests, which may be personal (second degree of kinship or matrimony) or professional (subordination relations or direct scientific cooperation within two years preceding the review date);
• The review contains an explicit conclusion by the reviewer stating the “accept” or “reject” conditions
• The criteria for the acceptance or rejection of a paper as well as the review form are available in the public domain on the journal’s website or in each issue of the journal;
• The names of the reviewers are not disclosed.
